Terms and conditions
All of our products are fully guaranteed against manufacturers defects. We cannot
guarantee products against damage in use or wear and tear. Advice on the correct
use of specialised tools is available on request. All items are new and unused
except where stated otherwise.
Goods are despatched using Royal Mail first class, Parcelforce 24 and Parcelforce 48 depending on service selected
and/or parcel size. Enhancements such as extra insurance, recorded delivery
etc are available at extra cost to customer, please ask for details when ordering
Ceramics are fully guaranteed by ourselves against loss or breakage in transit.
Occasionally especially where the lower quality Chinese ceramics are concerned
there will be the odd chip or blemish. We take time to check each pot prior
to sending and if minor problems are encountered, assess each pot on whether
it is fit for purpose. In this case fit for purpose means that at least one
side will be without any unsightly faults and looks presentable. Please ask
if in doubt.
Pot dimensions on all pots are approximate and measured externally. Generally
speaking actual dimensions are slightly less than those given due to shrinkage
during the manufacturing process. For internal dimensions or exact measurements
please ask. Customers are welcome to exchange pots that are the wrong size but
in such cases will be expected to meet the costs of additional shipping costs.
Having placed an order you can cancel it at any time prior to despatch, just
let us know asap.
Refunds are given but postage costs incurred will not be refunded unless there
is a problem of our making in which case we will meet any additional costs
Green Dragon Bonsai is a family business that fits alongside normal jobs. Despatch is usually the same day or next working day and while we make every effort to achieve that we cannot guarantee it. For instance Parcelforece 24 is our nect day delivery service of choice but please check despatch times as it may not be the same day as ordering. Please tell us if you have specific requirements regarding delivery speed
Specific terms and conditions relating to trees
Trees are posted in a number of ways depending on size.
Very small trees are sent by first class post. Larger trees are automatically sent by Parcelforce
24. Both services cover loss under Royal Mails standard compensation
terms and conditions. We cannot directly accept responsibility for lost or delayed
trees but in the event of a problem we will put it right.
There is a limit to what
can be sent by courier and very large trees will need to be collected or if practical
we can meet halfway. Contact us for options if unsure.
All of our trees are guaranteed to be healthy at the time of their sale. If
they weren't we would not sell them.
We endeavour to provide care instructions with all of the popular species.
Care instructions on other species are available upon request and we will
gladly provide help at any time. We cannot be held responsible for deterioration
or loss of a trees health due to poor aftercare so if in doubt please ask sooner rather than later..
Any details given to us will only be used for the purpose of this order and
no details will be passed to any third party or used to contact you again umless
you request to join our mailing list
FREE shipping on orders over £50
This offer applies to the first 30kg of goods. So in most cases this means all orders over £50. However certain items such as soils add up to more than 30kg at very little value and such orders are free for the first 30kg and charged at the normal rate thereafter
Restrictions apply to delivery to certain remote locations such as Highlands of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man etc for which our shipper of choice, Parcelforce charge an excess.
